At ACC, we have a team of suitably-qualified and experienced lecturers. These lecturers are our Course Mentors. Registered with the Singapore's Ministry of Education, you will benefit from their years of relevant experience. They are keen and zealous to impart to you the relevant knowledge and skills.

Songsom Phungpong
Songsom is a licensed clinical psychologist from Thailand. She graduated with a Master Degree in Psychology (Clinical Psychology Course Works) from Pittsburg State University, Kansas, USA, and a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand. Songsom has experienced in working with various psychological issues. She has been providing workshop and training in counseling and psychotherapy to graduate students, health and mental health practitioners for 5 years. With an interest in the inner personality development, she is also a special lecturer at the John Robert Powers Institute (Thailand).

Lucy Li Hai Ning
Lucy graduated from China Bao Ji Profession Technology Medicinal College. She is the first cohort to graduate from China Shaanxi Da Kang Psychology Consulting & Psychotherapy Training College. In the year 2001, she was awarded a Practice Psychology Qualification Certificate from China Shaanxi Province Labour Department. In 2003, she continued her studies and enrolled as a Psychology Researcher at China Shaanxi Shi Fan University. With her knowledge and experience, she was assigned to be an analyst and has been to several colleges and organizations for Psychology researches and reports.

In the year 2002, Lucy co-established an On-Line Hospital Psychology Consulting Physiotherapy Centre in China Shaanxi. She has worked in Singapore Adam Road Hospital and has conducted Counselling in Mandarin. Lucy is now the Programme Mentor for Academy of Certified Counsellors' Specialist Diploma Course for Counselling Psychology In Mandarin.

Kala Karkal
Kala holds a Master’s Degree in Disability Studies from Flinders University of South Australia. In 1999, she started work with the pioneer program for youth with autism in Autism Association (Singapore). In 2002, under the umbrella of ‘Sunlove Abode for Intellectually-Infirmed Ltd’, Kala conceptualized and set up the ‘SAI-I Autism Centre’ providing the much-needed services for teenagers who possess low functioning and challenging behaviors.

Kala currently conducts programs and talks to raise public acceptance and awareness of individuals with special needs and disabilities.

CHRISTOPHER JABINES
Chris is a clinical psychologist from the Philippines. He is a full member of the Psychological Association of the Philippines and is accredited by the Philippine Psychological Corporation. He is a candidate of the Master of Science in Psychology Major in Clinical Psychology programme at the De La Salle University. Gaining his experience from practicing in various mental health institutions and lecturing in various universities and colleges, Christopher has obtained years of experience in teaching, counselling and research that he is now sharing with the students in Academy of Certified Counsellors.

Catherine Dong
Catherine is a Registered Psychologist in Sydney, Australia and a Certified Gambling Addiction Counsellor in Singapore. She holds a Master's degree in Applied Science by Research and a Master's degree in Health Science Major in Counselling at the University of Sydney, Australia.

Catherine's track has centered along the field of clinical work and research. Being a multi-lingual educator, Ms. Dong has taught and conducted seminars in China, Australia, and Singapore. In the Academy of Certified Counsellors, Catherine will be teaching the Mandarin Courses of Counselling Psychology and Counselling Addiction - Gambling.

Laurence Ho
Laurence is a registered psychologist at Singapore Psychological Society and a Clinical Supervisor in Singapore Association for Counselling. He is a member of several distinguished societies such as Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC), the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS), Australian Counselling Association, American Counselling Association and the International Association of Marriage and family Counselors.He holds a Masters Degree in Applied Psychology specialised in Counselling Psychology from Nanyang Technological University and a Graduate Diploma in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (USA).

Laurence is a Certified Solution Focused Therapist as well as Certified Practicing Counsellor under the Canadian Council of Professional Certification and the Australian Counselling Association respectively. He is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor under the Singapore Association for Counselling and accredited administrator of several instrument such as the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and Taylor-Johnson Temperament Analysis. His expertise spreads around families, couples, children, youths, marital, parenting, domestic violence, sexual abuse, interpersonal and mental health issues. He is also involved in providing school-based counselling, facilitating youth-related workshops and specialized therapeutic groupwork for individuals struggling with their spouses' infidelity and anger management issues.

Karen-Ann Sciberras
Karen holds a Master of Social Science (Social Work) from the National University of Singapore and a Graduate Certificate in Expressive Therapies from Expressive Therapies Institute, Queensland, Australia. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Satir Model in Grief Therapy Canada 2003, Advance Counseling in Abortion Issues, Suicide Intervention Course Certificate, Certificate in Career Counseling MOE 2006, Graduate Advance Diploma in Children with Special Needs (NIE) 2007 and Certificate in Early Psychosis Intervention (IMH) 2007. She has other certifications in Mental Health Training, Sex Therapy and Spousal Violence. She also possesses a Joint Degree of Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Social Policy and Sociology from the University of Hull in England and a Diploma in General Nursing.

Karen has a rich experience in conducting talks and workshops in schools, churches, Resident Committee centres and companies on various topics for targeted audiences, in which she will share it during her lectures in ACC School of Counselling and Psychology.

Perry Lee
Perry Lee holds an MA in Counselling at East Asia School of Theology in Singapore and Bachelor of Arts (Theology) at ICI Institute USA. He has worked in family life centre, a church and a communications company focusing in counselling and mental health portfolio and currently has his own private practice. He has been responsible for group and individual therapy for children and parents from dysfunctional households as well as developing programmes for helping wayward teens.Perry has also spoken in emotional health issues to groups in local schools.His interests in dealing with adults' personal issues and marriage problems will enhance the participants' exposure in the class conducting in ACC School of Counselling and Psychology.

Patrice Pedjoe Lee
Patrice is currently a family life counsellor and educator in HOPE Worldwide (Singapore). She conducts and develops Movie Therapy programmes for schools, corporations, and community organizations. Patrice holds a Master In Counselling from Monash University and is a member of the Australian Counseling Association, American Counseling Association and the Singapore Association of Counsellors.
